FE Sussex Spring Awards 2017
For the past 12 years the FE Sussex Spring Awards have been a highlight in the college year and have provided the opportunity to showcase the very best of the spectrum of further education in Sussex.
We have been incredibly grateful to all our sponsors in supporting and sponsoring the Spring Awards and we know from the testimony of the winners and runners up what a positive effect achieving an award has had on their personal and career development.
I am therefore very sorry to announce the overall level of sponsorship we have been able to attract for the 2017 ceremony is much less than in previous years and has failed to reach the level required to run the event on an economic and commercial basis.
As a result we are unable to deliver 2017 award ceremony in a way which replicates previous years. We are, however, investigating an alternative way of celebrating student achievement and when we have a viable alternative to equal the impact of past ceremonies we will negotiate with our sponsors and member colleges.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped to make past Spring Awards ceremonies an outstanding experience.
